I am a Software Analyst Developer working in Southport, England but living in Liverpool. I develop mainly in C# and ASP.Net. I have been developing comercial software for several years now. I maintain this site (hosted at SwitchMedia UK) as a way of exploring new technologies (such as AJAX) and just generally talking about techie geek issues. This site is developed through a host of Perl scripts and a liberal use of Javascript. I enjoy experimenting with new technologies and anything that I make I host here.

CSS C# Token Reader

I was just reading the CSS 2.1 with the aim to create a CSS token reader in C#. It is a pretty tough document to get through. It defines the sytnax of a CSS file and provides regex's that could be used to read the CSS correctly.

It will however take me a little while to get anywhere with it though :)

I am working on something similar... just that I am not writing a full fledged tokenizer... I just need to read some parts of the CSS file and edit it programmatically...

Did you get anywhere with it...?

lol dont you guys know string replacement?

if not that Regex.match? filter the matches and replace the positions of the found match? but maybe thats just too simple
