Microblog Updates for 2009-11-22
- @mathwuyue I think I was running a carbon build and not a cocoa build… seems a lot faster now. #
- Just put an app into Android Marketplace, is there anyway to see the listing from the web? #
- The fact that tweetdeck doesn’t unfollow the right person when the screen updates is enough to make me smack something #
- I swear @prawlings is cheating on foursquare.
# - The iPhone approval process is poop, submitted an App 10 Days ago, started dev on the android one 3 days ago and it is in the market. #
- @Stubbs danny bakerism ….
# - Didn’t realize Acer have a dev program for their mobile… http://bit.ly/8yDT5R probably WinMob only. #
- @Stubbs yeah, I go for extra long drives to listen to it if I am taking the better half to work
# - @stewarttownsend and its on tonight woot…. I am normally good at wathcing it but I missed the start of the new season #
- @jonbyrne Called the first one Web Design News… ( I lent my android out so I can’t check on the marketplace ). It is targeted against 2.0 #
- @jonbyrne targeting it against 2.0 was probably bit of a mistake for now
# - @jonbyrne because each app is based off a shared configuration document the same app in theory can be deployed to android and iphone #
- iPhone app rejected because of three20.
# - @omarrr It wasn’t explictly said it was three20 but the reasons are the same as in http://bit.ly/3CBEa5 #
- @omarrr also it wasn’t the app I was expecting to get flagger #
- @detansinn @omarrr just to clarify, I am using a slightly outdated version of three20 so going to resubmit #
- @JonathanDeamer we have 6 apps, 1 rejected, 2 in review for the past 4 days, the rejected was only in review for 2 hours it seems #
- @detansinn I submitted an app into android this afternoon (Web Design News), made the app in 3 days. The iphone version is still in review #
- @FrankKinlan apple rejected it because a software library I used contains code it shouldn’t…. should be sorted now. #
- http://bit.ly/10fWQi awesome visualisation of scale. #
- @omarrr I think it will be ok
I will let you know if it gets through ok
# - @IanRobinson good luck
# - If I am developing android apps, should I target 2.0, 1.6 or 1.5? #
- @blu3id I was thinking of only targeting 2. I deployed an app today that is 2 only and I can’t test it other than in the emulator. #
- @blu3id not sure what to do really, might build using 1.6 now and all new apps on 2 in a couple of months #
- @blu3id saying that my hero is at 1.5 I think. #
- @browniepoints wonder what the usage stats are for all versions of android? #
- @prawlings you have been pretty quiet now jedward are out. #
- @mcknut it looks that way, it was the last submitted app, the other 5 are either in review or still waiting… wonder whether to pull them #
- @mcknut they are all templates of the same app, so yes they all use three20
# - @charlesdietrich if I target 1.5 will the app work on 1.6 and 2.0? ( apps are pretty simple and don’t do anything special ) #
